Memory Verse Craft

Use the following templates to create a fun map which has the memory verse on the road signs (write this on by hand or copy the template into a program such as Microsoft Publisher and type the memory verse onto it).

Materials

One or more of the following templates
Backgrounds (see below)
Brown card, glue
(optional) crafts sticks, large paper

Method

Print out one or more of the above templates. Write the memory verse on each as directed on sheet. (You may like to look at the Kindergarten/Primary Memory Verses below as an example)
Alternatively, copy and paste the template into a program such as Publisher and type in the memory verses. You may also like to print the easy road signs out onto a full page sticker sheet and cut out to create stickers.
Create a map to attach road signs to. This can be down using any one of the following ways.
- Draw a map of your community or even an imaginative place on a large piece of paper.
- Enchanted Learning Geography/Maps - print a relevant map from this site (i.e. your state or country)
Each week (or all at once, if desired!) glue the week's memory verse somewhere on the map.
Alternatively, you may like to attach the signs to crafts sticks and use in a sand box. Or use the templates to create a mobile!
Travelling??? Print out or draw a map of your trip. Print out one of the road signs templates and decorate the map with some of the signs you see on the way!
