There is no doubt that the influence of a good mother is an often highlighted aspect in the lives of great Bible characters. Think of Moses, Samuel and Jesus himself, and the importance their mothers had in their upbringing.

The spiritual influence of a mother can never be underestimated - just check out the Dedication for this site and you will see who has been an influence (even though she is now long gone) on the development on this website!

So this Mother's Day, take the opportunity to tell a Bible story about an important mother - they experienced the same problems mothers do today. Try the following stories for ideas!
